Ghosts Are Kindly Asked Not to Scream

Picture book
Humorous

From the duo who won both the Andersen and Super-Andersen Prizes, a spooky, funny ghost story.

Welcome to the Lojacono Hotel, haunted by terrifying ghosts! If you’re looking for a truly spooky vacation, this is the place for you: the snobbish Count Apelle Quantemosse, the clumsy Brandello, and the mischievous twins Quilodico and Quilonego will make you scream your lungs out! There’s just one problem… A few days ago, the famous actress Jennifer Snob checked in — and she demands absolute silence.
But how can a ghost possibly stop scaring people?

  • A hilarious story with a clever twist: hidden within the pages is an interactive surprise: the ghosts’ illustrations only appear when you shine a light behind the page!
  • Atmospheric setting: the haunted Hotel Lojacono in Naples, with detours into cemeteries and ancient woods, adds Italian gothic flair with a comic edge.
