The Great Journey of Testaplastica
What’s left of humanity when the waters have swallowed everything… except the stories?
In a not so distant future, Earth has been swallowed by the Allwater Ocean. The few survivors live on floating islands made of plastic, fighting for food and keeping stories alive as their last hope. Testaplastica is an eight-year-old girl with a vivid imagination and a love for tales—especially the ones about the legendary Sunken People, mysterious beings said to dwell in the ocean’s darkest depths. But her reality is far from magical. She’s a slave in the Patch, a floating junkyard ruled with an iron fist by the ruthless Boss Full. When she finds out that her only friend, Zoso—a baby polar bear—is about to be sacrificed, she decides to fight back. Using her mental powers, she convinces a young sailor to help her escape with the other captives in search of freedom. But Boss Full isn’t about to let them go. He unleashes the fearsome Captain Riffel and his submarine to hunt them down. Chased across deadly waters, they face storms and terrifying sea creatures… until all hope seems lost. That’s when the Sunken People rise from the deep—and offer them refuge in their mysterious underwater kingdom.
