Mariateresa Conte

Mariateresa Conte was born in Taranto in 1976. After earning a degree in Law, she began exploring the world of comics and, in 2001, won the B. Jacovitti scholarship for the Illustration Master’s program at IED in Milan. In 2011, she obtained a diploma in Creative Illustration from IED in Barcelona. As an illustrator, she has worked for various magazines within the GuJM group. She currently lives in Modena and works as an editor at Panini Comics. She writes, draws and looks for inspiration in the evenings at home, accompanied by her cats, Iago and Gilda.
