Do you know what you want to be when you grow up?
Nine middle school children wonder what to do when they grow up. They couldn’t be more different, but they will all find inspiration in the stories of the twenty-one Italians who have received the most prestigious award. Whether it’s for literature or medicine, chemistry or physics, peace or economics, the twenty-one Italian Nobel Prizes pave the way for girls and boys to always imagine new successes.
Caterina Cappelli, born in Vicenza in 1995, graduated in Comics and Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. She’s a cartoonist and illustrator, but she’s also interested in animation and bricolage.
Antonio Mirizzi (1995) made his debut as a comic book author in 2017 with the self-produced volume “Bologna Indegna”. As a scriptwriter and illustrator, he has worked for publishing companies such as Hazard, Pearson, Gallucci and now Piemme. He is based at the Inventario/Tagliapietre studio in Bologna, where he lives.
Elena graduated in Art History and received her diploma from the International School of Comics in Florence. She loves theatre and dance, and adores animated cartoons and shopping. In 2012 she launched the “Carote e Cannella” cartoon blog and, with the related Facebook page, she has obtained great success on social media.
