Gabriele Nanni

Gabriele Nanni was born and raised in Barafonda, a neighborhood in Rimini teeming with adventures. Before long, he started inventing his own.
His debut novel, Il numero 5 (Piemme), won the Battello a Vapore Prize, and his second book, The Invisible Empire(Pelledoca), was selected for the prestigious White Ravens catalogue. His latest novel, La Barabuia, was also published by Pelledoca.
He still lives in Rimini and has been involved with the Mare di Libri Festival since its very first edition. Whenever he can, he returns to Barafonda—rumor has it, that’s where the best stories are hiding.
