Miriam Dubini

Miriam Dubini (1977–2018) was born in Milan, where she earned a degree in semiotics with a thesis on fairy tales. A beloved author, she is best remembered for her many books for children. She wrote and performed for children’s theatre, collaborated with Disney on fiction and comics, and worked with Ambra Orfei on the dramaturgy of circus performances.
Later, she moved to Rome to write a family film produced by IIF and Fulvio Lucisano.
Her boundless creativity led her to explore a variety of forms and languages, always with a sense of wonder and a deep connection to the world of childhood. She passed away prematurely, leaving an enduring mark on Italian children’s literature.
