Darkmare. Hellish night at the cinema park
Mystery
“How can you give a dream back to those who have lost it?”
Guido, a twelve-year-old boy, is irresistibly drawn to a book about Klaus Voynik, an enigmatic cursed director. However, the final pages, which recount his tragic death, are missing from the volume. Intrigued by the story, he travels to the place where Voynik filmed his last film, but the set has been transformed into a film-themed theme park. To solve the mystery, Guido only has the few hours before sunrise and must overcome the attractions that have suddenly become sinister and threatening. Because the night of the 30th of April is Walpurgis Night, the night on which, according to legend, spirits are allowed to return to Earth…
- A modern, fast-paced, first-person story that blends elements from surreal works, romantic and dreamlike cinema.
- Nods to various film genres and classics like The Night At The Museum, Jumanji and The Purple Rose of Cairo.
