Detective Linus and the Turquoise Falcon – vol. 1

Humorous
Mystery

The most famous young detective around. At least, that’s what he says.

One summer morning, a postcard arrives at Linus’s house from his friend Giangi. Apparently there’s a new threat in town: he has snake-like eyes and drives a bottle-green van. This seems like a case for Linus, the most famous young detective around! Of course, he should be thinking about his summer holiday homework, but how can he concentrate on these trifling matters when his town is teeming with crimes and mysteries?

  • Packed with clever banter, absurd disguises, and schoolyard mysteries, this laugh-out-loud series reinvents the detective genre with a humorous twist for middle-grade readers.
  • Inspired by classics, borrows all the typical features of the noir genre from film and novels: the detective, the secretary, the cop, the sidekick, the femme fatale, the secret informant, the villains, even jazz music (and some trap too).

From the same series (Detective Linus): Detective Linus incredibly solves another case, Detective Linus. His Enemies Hate Him, His Friends Put up with Him, Detective Linus And the Dishonourable Case of the Missing Honourable, An Explosive Case for a Crackling Hero.
