Humorous
Mistery

My friend, i’ve been doing this job for three boks, i know very well when something’s wrong. and there was definitely something wrong there.

Something’s wrong in Contessa Tuminsegni’s villa: during one of his reconnaissance trips, Linus discovers that the villa is guarded by a beefy bodyguard. Meanwhile, Mum has to go out of town for a work conference that is going to take the whole weekend, and the most famous young detective around has to stay with his hated neighbour: police inspector Oreste De Marinis. Linus soon finds out that a school short film is being made in the villa. His greedy passion for cinema leads him to sneak onto the set, where he immediately starts causing chaos. But things take a serious turn when the Contessa’s priceless rubies disappear. Filming breaks off and Linus finds himself solving the case alongside De Marinis. Will they manage to find the thief? And finish the film? And will Linus’s relationship with the hated De Marinis develop?

  • Humour and laugh-out-loud texts
  • Inspired by classics, borrows all the typical features of the noir genre from film and novels: the detective, the secretary, the cop, the sidekick, the femme fatale, the secret informant, the villains, even jazz music (and some trap too).
