Born in Monza in 1982, the same year E.T. landed in cinemas (and on planet Earth). After working as a window designer, set designer, and TV writer for children’s programs (DeaKids, Super!), she completed a Master’s in Creative Writing in Milan and moved to London, where she still lives with a gang of dreamers. On behalf of the Italian Cultural Institute in London, she curates and hosts Book O'Clock, an online book club for children and families living in the UK. She is currently working on a UK theatre production based on her latest novel, in collaboration with Roman Stefanski. She plays football, loves witches, and always gets emotional in museums.
