History isn’t just what’s taught in school.
It’s also — and above all — the grand tale of thrilling, thought-provoking, unpredictable, and sometimes frightening events… all of them true.
This series of books tells slices of history by immersing today’s readers right into the heart of it.

1969: The First Man on the Moon is a gripping journey through the historical moment that forever changed our view of the world: the moon landing.
Christian Hill recounts the space race with clarity and flair — from the Cold War to the preparations for Apollo 11, all the way to Neil Armstrong’s iconic “one small step.”
Illustrated with period photos, scientific curiosities, and technical details, this volume gives young readers (and the simply curious) a vivid, engaging chronicle of one of humanity’s most extraordinary achievements.
