Yanez. The return of Sandokan

Adventure

The untold story of Sandokan’s brother-in-arms: loyalty, love, and rebellion on the high seas.

An epic homage to Salgari’s timeless adventures, Yanez reimagines the legendary Tiger of Malaysia saga through the eyes of his blood brother.
With irony, passion, and cinematic flair, Francesco Dimitri brings to life a tale of pirates, empires, secret cults, and fierce loves — a story of honor, freedom, and friendship stronger than destiny.

  • Beyond swashbuckling adventure: a reflection on honor, loyalty, identity, and the human values that endure even in the face of oppression and betrayal.
  • A rediscovery of myth and a bridge between cultures — more than exotic adventure, the novel is a profound reflection on freedom, honor, and identity. It explores alliances and betrayals in an age of colonial collision, challenging the idea of borders and flags, while reviving Salgari’s mythos with a contemporary voice that celebrates universal courage and love.
