Chris Riddell

Chris Riddell is one of the most awarded and refined illustrators, also known as a political cartoonist for The Observer. He was Waterstones Children’s Laureate from 2015 to 2017 and has won the Kate Greenaway Medal three times, the latest for his illustrations in The Queen in the Forest by Neil Gaiman. He has collaborated with authors such as Neil Gaiman and Paul Stewart and illustrated classics like Don Quixote and Gulliver’s Travels. He is the author of the Agata de Gotici and Ottoline series and co-creator of the Saga di Boscofondo. He is an ambassador for BookTrust and Amnesty International and lives in Brighton with his family.
