Comme si c’était arrivé

Picture book

The story of a bittersweet love between past and present.

On his way to Sophie’s funeral — the woman he once loved deeply — Francesco drifts into a web of “what ifs.” Their story was brief but unforgettable: a spark that could’ve changed everything. As memories resurface, so does a question that haunts him—was it really just a passing moment, or something that could have been extraordinary? What if they had chosen differently? What if they hadn’t let life get in the way? And what if… somewhere, in some other version of time, their love actually happened?

  • A moving reflection on missed chances and parallel lives, blending emotional realism with a subtle speculative twist.
  • Elegant, bittersweet tone that lingers long after the final page.
