Walter Leoni invents and drawa stories. He creates cartoons, illustrations, and comics for publications including La Lettura and La Lettura delle ragazze e dei ragazzi (both from Corriere della Sera), as well as the science outreach magazine Comics & Science. With his graphic novel SS Tata, he received the Gran Guinigi Award for Best Debut in 2020. Since 2021, he has published the monthly autobiographical comic strip Totally Unnecessary Comics in Linus and on social media — collected in 2024 in a volume titled Cresci piano pensa a me! (Grow Slowly, Think of Me!). He either works at home or lives at the office… who knows, really.
