To figure out which mysterious bird it belongs to, she has no choice but to dive into books and invent new equipment…

Mariateresa Conte is originally from Taranto, where she was born in 1976. After earning her degree in Law, she developed a passion for the world of comics and, in 2001, won the B. Jacovitti scholarship for a Master's in Illustration at the IED in Milan. In 2011, she furthered her skills with a diploma in Creative Illustration at the IED in Barcelona.
