Alessandro Gatti was born in 1975. As a young man, he studied a lot of philosophy but then he thought it was best to start writing novels for children. He is the author of the Klincus Corteccia books (Mondadori), which have just been adapted into a cartoon series. Along with Pierdomenico Baccalario and Lucia Vaccarino, he is also the author of the novels in the Sherlock, Lupin & Io (Sherlock, Lupin & Me) series, Piemme, translated into several languages. For a few years he has also been a comic book writer for Disney.

Daniele Bonomo, known professionally as GUD, is an author and illustrator born in August 1976. He holds a degree in Political Science, with a thesis on Will Eisner, and has always had a strong inclination for visual storytelling and drawing. His career spans cartoons, humorous comic strips, illustrations, and comic books for children, teenagers, and beyond. GUD is well-known for creating the Terry Time and Timothy Top series, and for writing and illustrating the comic book manuals Tutti Possono Fare Fumetti and Come Creare Fumetti, both published by Tunuè. He has collaborated with major publishing houses including Il Castoro, Coconino, Comix, Dami, Mondadori Ragazzi, and Sonda.
