The Slipper Gobbler

Alberto Bellini is a secondary school teacher and freelance copywriter.
He was born in Modena in 1978 and lives in the surrounding countryside, where the vast plains meet the Apennines. He is married and has two children. He has published three novels: Niente che sia al suo posto (Gallucci, 2013), Tutto questo tempo (Fernandel, 2016), and L’ultimo tornado (Edizioni Corsare, 2023). In 2024, he released Il mostro mangiapantofolewith Feltrinelli Kids. In his spare time, he tries to teach his dog to play frisbee—so far, without success.

Alice Del Giudice was born in Liguria, where she drew constantly, everywhere. She studied Advertising Graphics in Imperia and later Comics at the International School of Comics in Turin. She has realized many dreams, becoming a designer and colorist for international animated series, an illustrator for both Italian and overseas publishers, an author of a book with Panini Comics, and a toy designer for young children. She collaborates with companies such as Giunti, Mondadori, Quercetti Toys, and many others. She illustrated Il mostro mangiapantofole (2024) by Alberto Bellini for Feltrinelli. When she’s not busy illustrating, she lovingly teaches the young artists of tomorrow.
