An illustrator from Rimini, Marianna graduated in fashion and works on promotional and publishing projects for children. Drawing is her profession, as well as her favourite tool for communicating and exploring the world. She likes to experiment with combinations of traditional and digital tools, drawing and photography in particular. In 2018, she won the Nati per Leggere award with her first photo-illustrated book Il viaggio di Piedino, Bacchilega Junior. Alongside drawing, she teaches a visual communication seminar for the University of Bologna’s fashion department in Rimini. She writes about books and educational activities related to drawing for the magazines “Ad Un Tratto” and “Occhiovolante”.
