Agnese Innocente

Agnese Innocente is a comic artist and illustrator who’s been passionate about drawing since she was very young. She works in Italy for various publishing houses, mainly on children’s books and comics, and abroad for Disney, Warner and Glénat. She won the Andersen Prize in 2020 with Girotondo and the Boscarato Prize in 2022 with Anna dai capelli verdi.

Alice Coppini

Alice Coppini, born in 1991, is an illustrator and comic book author. She graduated from the European Institute of Design (IED) in 2013 and OPPI MiMaster in 2015.

In 2017, she was selected for the Illustrators exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

She collaborates with various publishing houses including Editoriale Scienza, Giralangolo, Sinnos, Salani, Il Battello a Vapore, Terre di Mezzo, Lapis and Tunué.

Antonio Bonanno

Antonio Bonnano is an author and illustrator of children’s picture books, published both in Italy and abroad. He was shortlisted for the Silent Book Contest 2023 organised by Carthusia edizioni, won first prize in the “Il coraggioso Pigafetta e il viaggio intorno al Mondo” competition, was featured at the BCBF 2023 Illustrators Exhibition, won third place at CICLA 2022 in Shanghai, and received the “Popular Prize” at the Tapirulan association’s “Stop” 2022 contest. He was also shortlisted for the Annual 2022 and received Bronze at the Annual 2019 of the AI Association. He received a special mention at Lucca Junior 2018 and was selected for the Lucca Junior 2016/2013 exhibitions.

Carolina Grosa

Carolina Grosa works as a freelance illustrator for children’s, fiction, scholastic and educational publishing (she publishes for National Geographic Kids, Il Battello a Vapore, Gallucci, Rizzoli, Mondadori, Erikson, Giunti), as well as collaborating with various companies on graphic projects and advertising illustration (Kinder®, Amuchina®, Grom, DEAgostini). She has participated in various exhibitions, collective and personal. She lives in the mountains, so she can breathe more easily.

Gabriele Pino

As a child, Gabriele Pino dreamed of making magic, then he began to draw and made his dream come true. Following his degree in illustration and visual communication from IED in Turin, he started working as a freelance illustrator for publishing houses, magazines and companies. He has drawn comics for the weekly magazine "Origami" and now for "Tuttolibri" section of the La Stampa newspaper. With the designer and ceramist Cecilia Mosso, he creates the "Memorie" line of illustrated ceramics: ceramic objects that combine design, illustration and psychology. He draws illustrated notes on RAIGulp in the TV show “La Banda dei Fuoriclasse”.

Irene Penazzi

Irene Penazzi is an author and illustrator. Her debut picture book, Nel mio giardino il mondo (In My Garden, the World), Terre di mezzo Editore, was selected for the IBBY Honour List 2020. She collaborates with Italian and foreign publishing houses and has gained international recognition. Her works were exhibited in the “Eccellenze italiane. La nuova generazione degli illustratori italiani per ragazzi” exhibition as part of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair 2021.
